Hello! I am Marte, a 24-year-old girl who is traveling to Vanuatu in the October as a missionary for Youth With A Mission (YWAM).
As Christians, we stand together to make disciples of all nations. Some will go out, others will help send. I have received a specific call to go.
God has shown me His longing heart to set captives free. Specifically, by activating women's voices in Vanuatu. The culture is male-dominated and 80% of women/girls are raped before the age of 12. My specific job will be to lead the "Keep Safe" programme, preventive work against sexual abuse against women. In addition, we want to convey their value as children of God.
